Facebook launches video for Instagram

Facebook has launched a new video feature for its popular Instagram photo-sharing site Thursday.This will allow users to shoot and edit short clips from their smartphones. Using this app we can take a 3-15 seconds long video.

“Today, we’re thrilled to introduce Video on Instagram and bring you another way to share your stories. When you go to take a photo on Instagram, you’ll now see a movie camera icon. Tap it to enter video mode, where you can take up to fifteen seconds of video through the Instagram camera”, said Kevin Systrom , Co-founder, Instagram.

Instagram video apps tailored for iPhones and smartphones powered by Google-backed Android software feature 13 filters for special effects and post to people’s Facebook pages the same way pictures do.

Instagram also intoduced Cinema feature which will help to stabilize the video which are all shaky while we are taking.Stabilization is on by default.

Vine users easily share their videos on its dedicated social network, as well as on Twitter and Facebook; Instagram offers built-in sharing support for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and also Tumblr and Foursquare.

Twitter already launched video sharing in Vine.Facebook’s new move may challenge Twitter’s popular Vine service.
